ResearchCon 2021 | See Us: Faces of Disparities in Cystic Fibrosis Care and Experience

Published on april 21, 2021 by

Disparities experienced by minoritized people with cystic fibrosis are widespread but not well understood. During this session we will present what we know about the nature and consequences of disparities in CF care and research, and shine a light on the many questions still to be answered. This session represents the beginning of a conversation about disparities — a conversation we invite you to join!

Using a combination of formal presentations and storytelling, this session will bring existing disparities to life. This session is designed to create a welcoming opening and a safe space for marginalized people to share their stories and establish a foundation for future conversations and research.

Originally recorded April 15, 2021.
