Published on november 20, 2020 by

The workshop will provide basic scientist and clinicians with the latest information in the area of CFTR regulation, mechanistic basis, and how the channel contributes to the disease phenotype.

Using various state of the art methodologies from whole-exome sequencing, to organ on a chip to critical signaling mechanism the goals of this session is to understand how mutations in the CFTR gene affects the modifier genes, the structure of airway epithelium, the mucous physiology, and how it contributes to the lung pathologies in CF.
